5 of 5 stars  The best bass cd
Wednesday, April 14, 2004
This album is by far the best bass cd I have heard yet. Bass 305 is the godfather of good bass and electrionic mixes. Its actual music, not just bass tones losely strung out with keyboard sounds. Some tracks have very heavy bass lines while others are more subtle, but all are musical and enjoyable. This is a cd that you can put in and never have to skip a track. Even those of you who are not in the bass game will find this cd entertaining. Hell, my dad even likes it! This is hands down the best bass album ever and guarantied to give your system a workout. Buy it!

4 of 5 stars  Best Bass 305 album, by far.

Bass The Future is not only Bass 305's best album but is also probably the second best bass album, by any bass artist, that I've ever listened to. ... the album leaves a lot to be desired, as half of the songs are pretty cool techno-like bass songs (instead of just electronic noises jumbled together having little or no melody -which is what most bass "music" is) and half are either "cheesy" (such as Pure Tone and Bass Epilogue where a scientist of some sort talks about the science of bass and it's effects on the ear) or just "fillers" that lack any substance. My two favorite tracks by far are Automated Digital Bass and BASS mission 305. They're probably my two favorite tracks from any of 305's albums.

If you're a bass stickler, this album is a must-have: It thumps big-time, has very clean and un-distorted bass tones and has some truly cool techno-bass songs (which are ACTUALLY songs), rife with all types of alien-like outer space noises and other digital sounds. Great job Mark and Dave Watson.

This album is cool. It's got that nice ambient style, along with that booming bass. Got minimal words, is not offensive (only to your mom when your pounding that BASS in your room and in the automobile.)and would be recommended to a true BASSHEAD like myself. Check out their (David & Mark Watson: Bass 305 themselves, executive producers, and owners of DM Records) other releases: DIGITAL BASS, VIRTUAL BASS, DEPARTURE, AND THE BEST OF.You won't be disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
