Classic gangsta S**+Friday, December 17, 2004
This album is hardcore gangsta $*!+ from the Murderers. Ja is hard, black child anf caddilac tah are real hard as is 0-1, dave bing and others, this was before Ja turned soft and even if it barely went gold, it is a great CD. It has 18 tracks, most feature Ja, Black Child, and Caddillac Tah with Vita on about half, and a few others are on a couple of songs as well. It only has one song I skip, 3 classics, 10 great songs, and the others are ok. Production is handled by Irv Gotti and DJ Reb & Lil Rob and they do a good job. A Must have rap album for all.

dont pay attention to the star rating of this cd because i have never listened to it. I am posting this comment to make sure that everyone knows that Jay-Z and DMX are NOT on this record label, whcih i have seen mentioned in the review section for this cd. Once again this cd may be good, and it may not be, i have NEVER listened to it, I just wanted to warn people that they would not be hearing much jay-z and dmx.

Irv Gotti Presents: The MurdersSunday, December 01, 2002
Nowadays everyone knows who Murder Inc. is but when this album came out in early 2000 people were still sleeping. The Murders consist of Ja Rule (now one of hiphops most well known names, and the man who brought them to the forefront), Vita (no longer with the Crew), Tah Murderer (now known as Cadillac Tah), 0-1, Black Child, Ronnie Bumps and Chris Black and of course Irv Gotti head of the firm. Guest appearances on this album come from DMX (now beefing with Ja Rule), Shady, Dave Bing, Lil Mo, Jay-Z, Memphis Bleek and Busta Rhymes. Album is 25 tracks in total. "Murderers" starts off the album and is a hardcore banger, Ja Rule, Black Child and Tah Murder work well toghther on this track, dropping nice blazing music. "We Dont give a F***" continues this hardcore pace. After this there a few less then memorable tracks then on "We Murderers Baby" Ja Rule and Vita, drop a deadly collabration, and is one of the illest tracks on the album. One of my favourite tracks has Ja going solo on "How Many Wanna Die", Ja comes out really strong, and gets you pumped. Black Child and Ja come out on "We Getting High Tonight" a relaxed track about ladies and the club. "We Different" and "Rebels Symphony" follow and are nice banging tracks. Black Child comes out solo on "Black or White", a track where he talks about growing up, and rhymes nicely, look forward to the day he comes out solo. "If you were my B****" is a funny relaxed back track. Dave Bing and Lil Mo drop a decent track called "Somebodys Gonna Die Tonight". Album closes with Holla Holla Remix. "Irv Gotti Presents: The Murderers" displays some of the labels nicest talent, and alot of people should check this out, would change a common misconception that Murder Inc is all about R&B Collabs and cant come hard. Its nice to see that this group has gotten the recognition they have deserved, think in 2003 we are going to see more solo releases from all of them.
