Product Description
Bette Davis
Description
She created a new kind of screen heroine, a liberated woman in a world dominated by men, and rose to be recognized as "first lady of the American screen." More bold than beautiful, more brazen than beguiling, Bette Davis starred in classics like Jezebel and All About Eve. She won two Academy Awards, was nominated for 10 more, and earned the adulation of generations of movie fans. Equally independent off-screen, her battles with studio brass were legendary. Here is her story, from her childhood and her first triumphs in Hollywood, to her ascension, eclipse, and ultimate return to unprecedented acclaim. Share the magical memories of one of the most inspiring and electrifying women ever to light up the silver screen.

3 of 5 stars  this 'n that....

I love Bette davis, but i don't really enjoy other people talking about her; in that kind of reports i prefered the one hosted by jodie foster and featuring a lot of "bette davis on bette davis". i 'll recommend it to people who don't know much about Bette.
