One of my fav mags!Tuesday, March 29, 2005
I'm very fussy when it comes to magazines and I am not often pleased, but Jan Magazine makes me happy.
I love the articles, the adds do not annoy me, and It's always jam packed full of good info.
The only thing I don't like is the price. It costs more than most magazines around here.

So Hip it barely has legs!Thursday, January 06, 2005
Jane is simply the best magazine i have every read. i was introduced to jane about four years ago when i started working as a columnist, and i have read every issue since. It mixes political and social articles with fun articles, and as a less than perfect woman myself, i have to admit that i love the positive self image that jane reinforces.

Save your money for a smarter and more useful magazineTuesday, October 26, 2004
I received a year of Jane as a gift from a friend. I am glad the year is almost up! The articles are shallow and very short (usually a page or less). There is no in-depth coverage of any topic. The topics themselves are generally of little interest to educated women in their 30's. It seems to me that the magazine is geared toward women in their teens and early twenties with short attention spans who are dying to be a part of a hip clique.

Jane is for divas, plain and simple, and people who haven't outgrown their high-school clique complexes. The magazine manages to avoid lower ratings from this reviewer because it DOES cover serious social issues and politics. Maybe it will mature in years to come. Recommend for the twenties age group.

Not for those seeking insightful readsSunday, August 29, 2004
I used to subscribe to "Jane" and while the subscription rates are cheap and there are a few interesting articles from time to time, on general the magazine is clique-ish and lacks substancne. Good for those who are AD/HD or just don't like any depth in their writing. Subscribe at your own risk or wait until they start selling at cheapie $1.99 news-stand rates.
