I like the size, thickness and softness of this towel, but after about 10 washings the hooding came unstitched.

I received this towel as a shower gift from my registry. I love the looks of the towel, but not the quality. I washed all my baby clothes, towels, etc this weekend and this towel is falling apart after one washing. I have a Carter's hooded towel and it seems to be of much better quality. I'm returning this one to Babies 'R Us and buying another Carter's towel.

I too received this as a gift before my daughter was born. It is so cute and it is thicker than a lot of other hoodie towels...although others that I have do absorb just as well. My towel and wash cloth also are unraveling. They have been like that for quite a while now and my daughter is about to turn 1. I would say they started to unravel after about 4 or 5 months. The moon and star are all ripped on the edges and badly freying away. Also the edging on the hood and part of the body of the towel are literally ripping away.... the towel part then startes to unravel. I still use them along with my other sets...but I have to say, definitely not worth the money. None of my other sets are ripped at all. I have a Carters as well as Lambs and Ivy sets that are still in perfect condition.

This is my favorite hooded towel and my favorite washcloth I own. They are thick, soft and comfortable. My baby smiles when I wrap him in this towel and not with others. It soaks up the water really well. I've used it and washed it about 50 times and it still looks great. No colors have faded or bled. Both the towel and washcloth have sturdy trim. The sailboat pattern is really cute for a boy.

My daughter, Jillian, is 3 this year and we STILL use this hooded towel. Its a nice thick towel. Some of the cheaper thinner hooded towels have been passed along, but not this one. I HIGHLY recommend them. (She likes beind a super hero in it too)
