4 of 5 stars  nice storage unit
Tuesday, January 04, 2005
We bougth the Leap Pad for our 2 1/2 year old twins for Christmas but needed a place to store everything we bought to go with it. I was a bit disappointed that it was only made for 3 books/cartridges....we have 6, plus the extra book that comes with it. I did find that it was fairly easy to double up the cartridges in the little mesh pockets and you can even put 5 books in the book pockets if you stagger them right. I keep one book in the unit and slide one more in front of the unit itself. That seems to work and zips up just fine. My girls seem to be able to get them out pretty good but need some help replacing them in the backpack. I am glad that I don't have the accessories lying all over the house though.... a good buy overall.

3 of 5 stars  Great Item but it's too small!

Like most other LeapPad items, this one is durable and well made. It has padding on the inside bottom to protect the LeapPad from excessive banging and it has individual pockets to store the books and cardtridges.

My only issue is that it can only hold 3 books! If you are using it for traveling and just want to bring a few books for entertainment, then maybe it's OK for you but if you need something to store all the books and tiny little cartridges associated with this game so you aren't looking for them all over the place when your child wants to play with them, then it really won't help much.
