great for indoors and outdoorsTuesday, May 03, 2005
I have a very active toddler, who has figured out how to unlatch some latched "safety" cupboards. This playyard, with the extension was an excellent solution to our problem. The nice thing about it is that my toddler and one of his friends can play in it along with all his toys, AND an adult can sit cross-legged in the yard as well. It is extremely durable and easily washable - we fold ours up and take it with us to the park and the beach.

great playard and lasts for yearsTuesday, April 26, 2005
I got mine 13 years ago with my first child. It has served our family -- and several others -- very well over the years. Indoors and out, for kids and puppies alike. It is hard to say anything but great things about this item. I haven't seen the new ones, so I don't know if the connection mechanisms between panels is the same or not, but they were always a bit stiff to maneuver. This was great when it came to my son who was very good at opeing and getting into things he shouldn't. He NEVER mastered this product!

like a giant playpenWednesday, March 30, 2005
This gate is great. It is much larger than a playpen so the baby can crawl around inside or even walk when he gets older. It is light and easily moved from one room to the next although we usually kept it up in one spot.

This thing is a lifesaver!!! I read reviews about it before I bought it, and only 1 was bad, and even it had to admit that the Superyard does it's job! We have a 1 year old daughter, she is constantly moving, and I am constantly chasing! And I have a 5 year old son to chase after too, so I'm always running! With the Superyard I can put the baby down, she can play and cruise the gates and crawl around. It's wonderful, I can even leave the room for a minute! I love it and don't know how we survived without it!

Not for crawling babies.Sunday, March 20, 2005
My nine month old son was able to make the Superyard slide across the tile floor simply by crawling over and pulling up on the sides. He began to treat it like a walker...a VERY dangerous walker that allowed him to manuever his way to things that were meant to be out of bounds... carpet didn't slow him down much, although it took more effort on his part to make the play yard move.
