Editorial Review
Shopping for groceries with Mommy will seem more real than ever with this pintsize poultry and produce carrier. Though only about 2 feet high, the red-and-yellow cart is designed to resemble a grownup's cart. It even includes a fold-up space with leg holes near the cart's handle--Mommy usually sits baby there in a real cart--where tots can place a tiny doll. Bright blue plastic wheels add contrast and additional color to this cart, which will last as long as your child's toddler years. --Diane Beall

5 of 5 stars  Oh what to buy!
Saturday, May 07, 2005
My kids love shopping carts, we go to a grocery store where they have little minni ones for kids. WEll when we were in the market for one, we needed the following reqirements...

* A place for a dolly, must be the best thing about a cart
* Big basket, to hold food and what ever else they are shopping for
* Sturdy durable plastic, not the cheep kind that will crack and leave sharp edges
* Wheels where little fingers cant get hurt
* Something thats just the right size

Well most of the "good" carts are pink, and thats no good considereing I have but one girl, 3 year old b/g and 8 month old b/b... so it was between this and leapfrog, now why did this one win?

MUCH more durable, my kids sit in it turn it upside down, cram it with stuff... everything
The plastic is not breakable... thank god
Theres a place for baby, too bad leapfrog, that was the biggest selling point
This one doesnt talk... there are just some toys that shouldnt... right?
Non-gender specific....

My kids love this cart, and they love putting babies in it too, great great buy... I also think my 8 month olds will enjoy it soon as well

5 of 5 stars  Its fun to watch

I bought this when my daughter was 16months and she loves it cause she has the foood sets to go with it. Shes acts like she is shopping and even putts her baby dolls in the front seat. The only thing that is if they try to put to much heavy stuff in the cart it will sometimes fall forward. Its very light wieght and duriable

5 of 5 stars  A winner!

I bought this for my 2 year old for Christmas. It's now April and she's still roars through the house with it...everyday! It's one of the few toys that she still enjoys months after Christmas. It's quite sturdy and I had no problems putting it together. To further endorse this toy, as I type (literally) my daughter is ripping through the house with her SHOPPING CART loaded with various plastic food products! Please be aware that you need to purchase the grocery items seperately. Overall, this is a good toy for little ones beginning to pretend play. P.S. I gave this toy a 1 for educational value, not as a negative mark, but because it isn't an educational toy

I have bought other little shopping carts, but none last very long. I have three girls and I watch other children this little cart gets a lot of use. It was a little bit hard to put together by myself, but not too bad. Just a couple of pinched fingers.

3 of 5 stars  Great toy with a Hazard
Saturday, January 29, 2005
My daughter received this toy for her 2nd birthday and she and her 5 year old sister loved playing with it, going on elaborate shopping trips. One day, at 2 1/2, she climbed into the seat portion of the cart - makes sense, since she sits there at the grocery store. The leg openings were large enought o allow her to slip in, but then she was stuck. The seat was not strong enough to hold her weight (20 lbs), putting pressure on her legs. The plastic is so strong, nothing I had would cut through it. I had to call the fire department & they had shears strong enough to clip the seat apart. She cried because they broke her toy, but she was okay.
