This case even has to stretch to fit the EX-Z40! The case is nice & small; however, neither a couple of salespeople or I could fit the 55 in.

There are a lot more casio digital camera cases on Semsons.com. Most are imported from Japan. I believe in japanese design that is so cute, colorful, and slim. Plus, you can't find them in USA. Cool!

I was on a look-out for a case for my Casio Exilim EX-Z40. This was one of the cases that I considered. I managed to find one in a local store, and here are two reasons why it is not worth your money:
1. Like other post states, the flap of the case is held by velcro, which tends to come un-done.
If you can look past that, (I don't know why you would):
2. When closed, this case leaves the sides of the camera more then half exposed. Dust, dirt and moisture get in there very easy.
My conclusion, if this is the case you are considering, why even own a case, just toss it in your pocket.
I did find a case, it is made by Digital Concepts. I don't think Amazon carries it yet. Its full name is "Digital Hard Shell Camera Bag". It was about fiveteen dollars at the local Ritz camera store. It is zipper all around, belt loop, and about as small as it gets for this camera. If you can, try it before you buy it, it is a really snug fit, if you need to carry a battery or any other accesory besides an extra memory card, it will not fit in that case.

I bought this leather case 5 months ago, it looks good the only problem it has and for me this is the main thing..... it open by it self when attached to the belt, my camera fell twice but lucky enough it was on the park!!

Nice, but not designed for EX-Z seriesTuesday, November 04, 2003
Unlike what the Editorial Review states, this item does not work with Exilim EX-Z3/Z4/Z4U digital cameras unless you want to squeeze your camera in!
While the manufacturer description does not list EX-Z items as compatible, I based my decision to buy this item with the new EX-Z4 on the Editorial Review ... I was wrong!
On the other hand, this item is very elegant and well designed for other Exilim models from S1 to S3 including M1 & M2.
