Nice..but almost a novelty itemSaturday, May 10, 2003
This , as a gift, made a big hit with a martini-loving friend. It a great conversation starter at your home bar. I think its a fine item if you love bar gadgets and have the room for another one. I don't think it falls into the *i really need this* catagory even tho it takes the guesswork out of a really classic martini... where *dryness* is the goal.
I tend to think of this item this item when I am gift shopping for a friend who loves barware...or is new to martinis...or just setting up a home bar. Its fun, altho more of a novelty and a necessity.

It only takes one spray to be illegal.Sunday, April 20, 2003
I saw this item, thought "hey, I can impress my friends with this!" and bought it. Well, the item itself is decent. Quality sprayer and very fashionable. However, DO NOT TAKE THIS TO A CLUB! I was at a local club when an undercover cop saw my spray this into my drink. Immediately I had my legs ripped out from under me, my head hit the bar, and I dropped my martini. I dragged from the club with beers and martini on me, a horrible headache, and everyone pointing and laughing. Turns out, he thought I was spraying an illegal substance in there but later found out it was nothing. He then offered to buy me a drink to make up for what he did, but I refused. I think he was trying to trick me into thinking he was my friend. Makes a great birthday gift!

Can't go wrong with a dry martiniWednesday, November 28, 2001
The Misto Martini Vermouth Sprayer was a nice find for myself. Its a real helpful tool when guests want a really dry martini. Just mist your glass and pour in the chilled gin. Just make sure you keep an eye on it-- its so cute that somone might try to pocket it :)

Misto your way to martini paradise!Tuesday, May 09, 2000
A dry martini is a thing of beauty to behold. However, mixing a good one is no small feat. This vermouth mister not only increases your odds of success, but also adds a jazzy flair to the preparation process. I like to lightly spritz my chilled glass before pouring in the ice-strained gin. A small but vocal contingent of fellow martiniacs prefers to float a vermouth spritz on top of the gin after it's strained into the glass. Either way, garnish with a vermouth-marinated olive and remember that immortal line from "The Seven-Year Itch": "There's gin and vermouth. That's a martini."
