cute but not functionalSaturday, May 14, 2005
this was a cute gift but my son always looked uncomfortable so I didnt use it much.

I like this robe when I take my baby to the pool. It keeps her warm when we walk from the changing room to the pool, and I use it as a hooded towel when we get out of the water. We don't use it after a bath, however...

Cute to look at, but not a great itemFriday, April 15, 2005
Well, my son could only fit in it for a few months, maybe till he was 2 months at the most (maybe three but i doubt it..), it also is very thin and the inside doesn't feel comfortable to me, I just wasn't happy with it at all...although I feel it is very cute though

I understand that parents who have chosen not to use a robe might be inclined to give this item a bad review but, as robes go, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with it. Not only do I find it to be among the cutest robes available for little ones (no more pastels, please) but my little guy actually likes hanging out in his robe, on the changing table, after a bath. I use it as one would a hooded towel and it works fine for me and I am looking forward to the days when my wee one wears it after waterbabies class or to the wading pool. Summer is coming and this would make a nice cover-up too.

Baby does not like to be changed repeatedly.Saturday, February 26, 2005
I agree with the previous user. I had no use for my robe either. I ended up giving the baby showers instead of baths. We never even used the baby bathtub. Then after the shower I put the robe over his head to dry his hair and wrapped the robe around the baby. I never put his arms in because he was not tolerant of that. Then we wrapped him in a towel and layed him down. We just had enough time to put his diaper on and dress him. NOW, that being said, if it were summer time, we might just let him wear the robe to the pool but I can't really justify the use of a robe for a baby now that we have seen how babies act after bathing.
