Fun while it lastedMonday, May 02, 2005
My son got this when he was 3. My 5 year old daughter thought it would be fun to lay it down and sit on it like it was a horse or something. The basket cracked. Before that, the tiny red piece of plastic that is used to adjust the height was lost, so it had to be used at the shortest height. We found the piece, and my husband superglued the basket. It worked until the first slam-dunk. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

One of the best purchases we've madeSunday, April 17, 2005
I couldn't help but add my 2 cents worth. We bought this for our 14 month old son. He absolutely loves it. We have had it for three months and he still plays with it every day. Our 3 year old loves to get into the action too and Dad and the kids literally spend hours playing ball. I would recommend it to anyone. It is a great idea for inside physical activity during the cold months, ours was in the living room, it's nice because it doesn't take up too much space.

The best Christmas present!Sunday, March 06, 2005
I bought this basketball set for my son's Christmas gift this year. My husband loves it as much as my son! When my husband gets home from work they spend at least 30 mins playing ball. It is easy to adjust and the ball is just right for his little hands. We live in an apartment so it stays inside and we don't have sand in it. This is hands down the most used toy in his very very very extensive collection!

Wow!I bought this for under $17.00 so shop around. Ours is not adjustable. I bought this for our daughter since she loves "ball"!!! We have it in our rec room...seems to be sturdy enough without adding sand in the base. If we put it outside we will put sand in the base. I think if you have more than one child playing with this at a time;and older than 2yrs I suggest the sand in the base from the start. We have had lots of fun so far with this...sure your little one will too.
Great learning to take turns!!!

Durable and funThursday, February 10, 2005
I don't understand previous reviews stating the rim is flimsy and breaks off. If put together correctly it should snap into place and be near impossible to come out. My 20 month old son loves this toy and has "dunked" the ball without breaking anything. Also, the base is to be filled with sand, not water.
Anyway, we are very happy with this toy.
