When I received the chimes they were smaller than I thought they would be, probably my mistake for not reading the dimensions carefully. They are of excellent quality. Although, I do not have any musical background, I felt they were perfectly tuned within a certain range. High pitch. (but not the aggravating high pitch, very appealing) If you are looking for deep baritones, try looking at the Woodstock Percussion BWS Bali - (Silver) available on Amazon for [$$]. I find having a range of sizes and tones gives a very nice blended sound.

I recieved my wind chimes and not only are they beautiful to look at but the melodic sound is so realxing and wonderful . I couldn't bring myself to hang them outside ,they are hung in my bedroom from a cieling fan so the sound can be heard all the time !!!
