I got this and used it for my Zire 31 it worked great. I thought that the software worked fine but the keys were a little off. But you will get used to it otherwise it is a great keyboard.

Didn't work with my T3, even with the latest drivers. 3-1-05Friday, March 18, 2005
I returned it. VERY nice, full keyboard, if it works with your handheld or phone. Though it worked, somewhat, with my T3, the "keyboard" program installed on my T3 couldn't be used/customized, and the driver may have corrupted my T3, forcing me to do a "hard reset", deleting all info on my T3. It didn't actually damage my T3, though, as earlier posters noted, using the earlier/shipped driver that came with the keyboard on the install CD.
I think I'll go with a Think Outside brand, "Stowaway" keyboard.

Nice to have Right Hand Layout - but The ? Key?Tuesday, March 01, 2005
Palm finally got it right that the landscape mode can be used in right hand (default) layout. I thought that this might be a nice keyboard. HOWEVER, within my second sentence I was typing to someone, I wanted to end it with a question mark, like this? What, where was it? On the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the right shift key. HOW DUMB is that. They could have put it right were it is on every other keyboard everyone types on. There is no reason they could not have put it in the same place as every other keyboard, there is no other function / symbol there.
I am just amazed!! How can they overlook something like that?
Don't expect to type fast on this one. The keys are smaller than a normal keyboard. It was hard for me to hit the spacebar cleanly.
Oh, and if you want to use more than one of the Palm keyboards, you are out of luck. The driver for this one works on this keyboard only. So, if you have 2 or more keyboards like I do (depening on the environment I'm in) you can't do that anymore.
I'll be staying with the old W folding model for now. The driver for the P10946U model wireless supports multiple keyboards. People say you have to put your palm in left handed landscape mode for it to work properly, not so. I found if you use the ALT-Delete key combination, it will shift the landscape mode. Not docuemented anywhere, but super VALUABLE for fast changes.
Palm gives us lots of options....to bad they don't get one fully complete. What gives us an reason to upgrade? grin.

OK, But Not PerfectMonday, February 07, 2005
* Nice Construction
* S/W Problem Resolved - Do NOT use the CD Driver - Download the 12/13/04 update from PalmOne
* Good Layout - Easy to type and unlike Ultra-Slim, does not require 100 Function Key operations!
* Only complaint is that it likes turning off at inconvenient times, so I have to completely close the unit and re-open to activate the driver, so I think something in the hardware itself is still jacked. Otherwise, it is worth the $$

Who designed this rubbish?Saturday, February 05, 2005
This keyboard is a totally unstable design, you cannot use on your knee or anything moving, otherwise the Handset will topple over. Software installation was a no-go, and when it was finally installed, a succession of fatal errors led me to junk the whole thing. Just waiting for the pins on the T5 connector to bend or snap, and no integrated USB power.
Whoever designed this contraption failed to consider basic ergonomics, and how the Palm is used on the move.
Used to have the Palm IIIc and keyboard. Loved it. Stable platform, easy to use, reliable, strong connector, and great for rapid note taking. Replaced it with a T5. Progress?
